Claudia Olvera graduated from Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City and works as a consultant and attending physician in the ICU of the American British Cowdray Medical Center in Mexico City. She made her postgrade studies in mechanical ventilation and long-term mechanical ventilation in London, UK and Rochester, Minnesota. She is professor of medicine in Universidad Anahuac and Universidad Panamericana, both in Mexico City. Her research and publications have been focused on intra-abdominal hypertension and mechanical ventilation. She is WSACS founder member and ambassador for Mexico as well. She has presented conferences about intra-abdominal hypertension all around Mexico and Latin America and has published 21 scientific papers.
